Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3

Luann replied, “Jesus is in heaven and He’s everywhere, right here with us. And He can be in your heart if you ask Him to come in.”

多年前的一个夜晚，妻子和两岁的女儿在睡前祷告后，女儿突然问道：“妈咪，耶稣在哪里？”妻子回答说：“耶稣在天上、在每个角落，而现在祂就与我们同在。如果妳向祂祈求，祂就会来到妳的心里喔！”

“I want Jesus to be in my heart.”

“我想要耶稣进入我的心里。”

“One of these days you can ask Him.”

“有一天，你可以向祂祈求。”

“I want to ask Him to be in my heart now.”

“但是我现在就想求祂进到我心里啊！”

So our little girl said, “Jesus, please come into my heart and be with me.” And that started her faith journey with Him.

于是，我们年幼的女儿祷告说：“耶稣，请祢进到我心里面来，与我同在。”从此开启她与耶稣同行的信仰旅程。

When Jesus’s disciples asked Him who was the greatest in the kingdom of heaven, He called a little child to come and join them (Matthew 18:1–2). “Unless you change and become like little children,” Jesus said, “you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. . . . And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me” (vv. 3–5).

当耶稣的门徒问祂说，天国里谁是最大的？耶稣便叫一个小孩子来，使他站在他们当中（马太福音18章1-2节），并对门徒说：“你们若不回转，变成小孩子的样式，断不得进天国。……凡为我的名接待一个像这小孩子的，就是接待我。”（3-5节）

Through the eyes of Jesus we can see a trusting child as our example of faith. And we are told to welcome all who open their hearts to Him. “Let the little children come to me,” Jesus said, “and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (19:14).

我们可以藉着耶稣的眼光，看到一个信心单纯的孩子，他可以成为我们信心的榜样。耶稣嘱咐我们，要接待所有敞开心、亲近祂的人。祂说：“让小孩子到我这里来，不要禁止他们，因为在天国的，正是这样的人。”（19章14节）

Lord Jesus, thank You for calling us to follow You with the confident faith of a child.

18 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

INSIGHT

Jesus likens greatness to childlikeness. Anyone coming to Him must come in childlike dependency, expectancy, receptivity, and humility (Matthew 18:2–4). While on earth, Jesus lovingly embraced His disciples as “my children” (John 13:33), and the apostle John affectionately addressed us as “dear children” (1 John 2:1, 12, 18, 28). Used negatively, however, children or “infants” denote weak or immature believers (1 Corinthians 3:1–3; Ephesians 4:13–14; Hebrews 5:13). “Don’t be childish,” Paul warned us (1 Corinthians 14:20 ). Christians are to be childlike, not childish (1 Corinthians 13:11).

耶稣将“伟大”与“像孩子一样”相提并论。任何来到祂面前的人，都必须像孩子一样，心存依赖、期待、接受和谦卑（马太福音18章2-4节）。耶稣在世上时，曾慈爱地称门徒为“孩子们”（约翰福音13章33节，新译本）；使徒约翰则亲切地称我们为“我的孩子们”（约翰一书2章1、12、18、28节，新译本）。不过，“孩子”或“婴孩”在消极的意义上，也可以指软弱或不成熟的信徒（哥林多前书3章1-3节；以弗所书4章13-14节；希伯来书5章13节）。保罗警告我们：“在心志上不要作小孩子”（哥林多前书14章20节）。基督徒要像孩子一样单纯，而不要像小孩子一样幼稚（哥林多前书13章11节）。
